Time: 11:15 P.M.

Info: I’ve noticed that just about every other day Sammy brings something to my door. Always around the same time. He is always so proud too, it’s pretty funny. He will cry at my door until I come out, just to show me that he brought it to my door. Anyways, on to the pictures.

Sammie is clearly an artist, the smears of blood are an exquisite aesthetic touch.

cats are hunters. That’s just what they are. sorry about the mice. I’m glad he’s catching them…remains are gross. No idea how to fix the messes. Could he live outside during the summer?

For outdoors we put a bell on the cat’s neck and birds aren’t a problem now. They hear him comintg. Big one from petsmart worked best. Also a breakaway collar so they don’t choke/get hung up on it in tree, etc.

I’ve only had cats a year…not much help.

I had a cat for many years growing up that would do the same thing. Cats are natural hunters, and there’s not a lot that you can do to stop it. Maybe set up some mouse traps around your home and hope that they get the mice before your cat does.

Also, I don’t know if you let your cat outside at all, but my cat was an outdoors kitty and would always bring small animals (birds, rats, mice, rabbits, snakes) that he caught and leave them on the back porch, almost as if he was saying “look what i brought for you!”
